Happy Group Tasting.50.jpg

A sentiment I share with all my heart. It is how I feel when people come to my home, whether it’s friends for dinner, a Cheese & Wine Tasting or one of my Tours.

So check out what I’m doing that might tempt you to book one of the following events or come to Hawke’s Bay for a Staycation.

Road Less Travelled Tours

My Hunter Gatherer Classic Tours are driven by me so you sit back, relax and enjoy the best of Hawke’s Bay even the locals don’t know about.  NOW, thanks to COVID, many NZers are driving themselves and making their own timetable.

So, I’ve put all my favourite places and people into a series of quirky, action-packed maps called the Road Less Travelled Tours.
Each Tour can be done in a day or spread over 2-3 days to take advantage of all the detours, discounts and tastings. Like a culinary and cultural adventure.

$245 for a set of maps or if there are 2 car loads then grab a second set for $125 and make it a competition!

Cheese & Wine Experience

Most of us know drinking lots of wine doesn’t make us wine experts.  But it seems most people believe eating lots of cheese more than qualifies them to be an authority on all things cheese!

If you really want to become a cheese expert and know the difference between Brie & Camembert,  determine the ripe from the overripe and discover who are NZs best cheesemakers check out the tastings, workshops & experiences I can offer for 2 to 200

The highly respected online financial magazine Business Desk has given me a regular column where I can rant and rave about my favourite subject - cheese.
